HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast seven races Commonwealth Cup Day from Ascot Racecourses, Great Britain on Friday, 19 June, 2020. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races. Besides, two Double Trio pools will be offered to Commonwealth Cup Day.

After the success of last year’s launch, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, in partnership with overseas partners, will again offer the Ascot World Pool for Royal Ascot 2020.

Overseas pari-mutuel wagers placed through partners from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States will be commingled into Hong Kong’s pools during Royal Ascot. The respective bet types for the Ascot World Pool are Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce. This will ensure maximum liquidity and stronger opportunities for customers across the globe on the Royal Ascot meeting. Other exotic bet pools will still be operated under Hong Kong separate pools.

The tickets sales for Commonwealth Cup Day will be available from 1:00 am on Friday 19 June. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)

Broadcast arrangements

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio.  Customers can also review the overseas races at www.hkjcracing.com one hour after the running of the race. 

‘S2’ must be indicated for overseas race bets

Customers betting through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the ‘S2 box’ and race number of the overseas races as required by the Interactive Services interfaces. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input ‘overseas race’ and the race number respectively.

If ‘S2’ or ‘Overseas race’ is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The tickets sales for Commonwealth Cup Day will be available from 1:00 am on Friday 19 June. Selling hours for the overseas races are:
