Latest win came at the course and distance last September. Finished below par in 3 starts this term. Damian Lane will ride. Settles handy to midfield.

Daishin Korol’

Has not tasted success for over 2 years. Showed little in 4 starts this term.

Firstbahn

Took second win, over this distance, at Niigata last October.  Decent 2nd over 1700m in May, but well beaten in last 2 starts.

Golden Lion

Won 2 of 18 career starts. Raced back and showed good effort when 2nd at the course and distance last out. 

Hakuai Windsor

Both career wins came over the distance. Spelled for 5 months and finished 8th last out. Sits handily or races back.

Hitchcock

2 wins from 18 starts. Smart effort when 2nd in a 2-win stakes race (2400m) in April but disappointing 9th last out.
 

Kafuji Rosso

Winner of a 1-win class race last June, but well beaten in two starts in this class since. Races handy.  

Meisho Azteca

2 wins at the distance from 4 outings. Led but faded late when 6th in the Listed Hosu Stakes (1800m) at Kyoto last out. 

Melissani

2 wins from 18 starts. Finished below par at the class over the distance last 2 starts. 

Memory Cobalt

On board in all her 4 starts this term, including her win in an allowance race at the course and distance last out.

Likely the top pick. Twice finished 2nd from 3 starts at the class this term. Consistent runner. Can race from the back or midfield. 

Red Zenon

Winless for 2 years. First up from a 4-month break in January (1900m) when 9th last out. 

Rosa Noir

2 wins from 16 starts, also 4th in the JPN G2 Kanto Oaks (2100m) last June. Well-backed but finished well below-par in two recent runs. Still a chance if she can lead or sit handily.
