Beat Lucky Lilac by 3.5 lengths in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Vase (2400m) at Sha Tin last December, a race that brings stamina into play will surely suit.

Career best 3rd in the G2 Copa Republica Argentina (2500m)  last November. Finished 11th in the G2 Meguro Kinen (2500m) last time.

Smart two-length win in the G2 Kinko Sho (2000m) last time out. The right-handed course behind closed doors will give him a big advantage. Christophe Lemaire will ride.

Finished in top three in his six recent starts, including his first graded race win latest in the G3 Niigata Daishoten (2000m) in May. Sits handily.

2018 G1 Japanese Derby (2400m) winner. Placed top three on eight occasions from 12 career starts.  Handles all going. Very fit.

Took a G2 over the distance last May. Missed the break and ran 3rd in the G3 Naruo Kinen (2000m) last out on 6 June.  Hold-up runner.

Finished in the top 3 in his first 9 starts but unplaced in 10 recent starts. 1800-2000m should be his best.

Meisho Tengen

Smart 2nd and 3rd over long distance (3400m and 3000m) early this season. Should run a race despite stepping back to shorter distance this time.

Lucky Lilac

Stalked pacesetter and delivered the perfect run to notch her third G1 title in the Osaka Hai (2000m) in April. No worries for the 2200m on the inner Hanshin course.

Winner of the G2 Nikkei Shinshun Hai (2400m) in January. Fair G1 debut when 7th in the Tenno Sho Spring (3200m) last time out.

Winless last four runs since taking the G2 Kyoto Kinen (2200m) last February. Finished below par in two recent starts, including 9th in the G1 Tenno Sho Spring (3200m) last time.

Winless since taking the 2017 G1 Kikuka Sho (3000m). Temperament issue would be his key, but Hanshin should suit him.

Showed his burst and speed when nose 2nd in the G1 Tenno Sho Spring (3200m) last start.  2200m is still his distance.

Quick from the gates. Narrowly beaten when neck 2nd to Lucky Lilac in the G1 Osaka Hai (2000m) last time out.  The extra furlong should suit.

Won the G3 Kokura Daishoten (1800m) in February before 4th to Lucky Lilac in the G1 Osaka Hai (2000m) at Hanshin.  Softer ground would surely suit.

Multiple graded race winner.  Best when taking the 2018 G1 Arima Kinen (2500m). Should suit the 2200m at Hanshin.
