Off-Course Betting Branches to re-open on non-racedays. Betting services for races and customer services available

The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) has been closely monitoring the latest COVID-19 developments and imposed attendance restrictions and precautionary measures to minimise the public health risks. Taking note of recent improvements in the COVID situation, the Club has decided to re-open its Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs) on non-racedays from 22 June to the end of the current racing season to provide betting services for races and customer services. Betting services for football will not be available at OCBBs, and the Mark Six lottery will remain suspended.

Details of the arrangements at OCBBs are as follows:

Opening OCBBs: All OCBBs (except the OCBBs located at Electric Road in North Point, Dundas Street in Mong Kok and Sha Tsui Road in Tsuen Wan)
Opening dates: 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30 June; and 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14 July
Opening hours: 12:00 nn to 9:00 pm
Services available: – Betting for local or simulcast races on pre-sale days
– Cashing-in of vouchers or winning tickets
– Betting account deposits and withdrawals
– Opening and re-activation of betting accounts
– Fund transfers setup

– All customers are required to receive temperature screening before entry and wear surgical masks inside the OCBBs. All customers and staff are required to observe the prevailing social distancing and group gathering restrictions as promulgated by the HKSAR Government during their stay in the OCBBs.

– Hand sanitisers will be provided at the entrances and exits of the OCBBs.

– Special measures will be implemented inside the OCBBs to ensure appropriate social distancing.

– To prevent over-crowding, customers are required to leave the OCBBs after the completion of service. Betting services for football and odds displays of races and football matches will not be available inside the OCBBs. The Mark Six lottery will remain suspended.
