Two high class performances as a 2-y-o, both on soft ground. Respectable sixth in 2000 Guineas and same position in Epsom Derby 12 days ago. This could be his trip and a good chance.

Won maiden as 2-y-o but needs to step up on performances in Listed (1400m) and G3 (2000m) contests this year, well beaten in both.

Mohaafeth

Three out of three this year. A notably impressive winner of a four horse Listed race at Newmarket last month. Fast ground suits – taken out of Epsom Derby due to rain softened ground – and an excellent chance.

Movin Time

Easy winner of maiden over 2000m at Newmarket on reappearance this season. Likely to be competitive at this level and a good chance.

Notre Belle Bete

Followed respectable runs in two Listed races over 1400m with runner-up spot in big field maiden over 1600m at Leopardstown last month. Not certain to benefit from step up in trip and only a fair chance.

Pythagoras

Three time winner last year. Respectable sixth place in G2 Dante Stakes at York last month. Needs further improvement.

Appreciated better ground when making the running in G2 Dante Stakes at York. Probably needs further improvement.

Secret Protector

Creditable runner-up to Highland Avenue in Listed race at Newmarket in April. Subsequently no match for Mohaafeth in another Listed race, over 2000m at Newmarket on fast ground. No obvious chance of reversing that form.

Snapraeterea

Already run a dozen times. Unable to make serious impression at G3 level so far this year and faces a hard task against improving opponents.

The Rosstafarian

Promising last year and midfield, staying on, in G3 Craven Stakes over 1600m at Newmarket in April. Subsequently well beaten in Irish 2000 Guineas. This more his level but only a fair chance.
