Give your ideas a jump-start and turn your designs into products for sale at the Gift at Races souvenir shops, by taking part in the “Your Design, Your Racing Souvenirs 2020” contest.

Gift at Races offers a wide range of racing-themed merchandise to racing fans, from exclusive collections to fun gifts for friends and family. The Hong Kong Jockey Club invites racing fans to put their thinking caps on and tap their artistic side to create a one-of-a-kind racing souvenir that may be turned into actual merchandise to be sold at Gift at Races (Photos 1, 2, 3).

Participants can submit their ideas of one or a series of souvenirs with Hong Kong horse racing elements, without any restrictions on design. Participants must submit image/multimedia files of their design and a description of no more than 200 words, either in English or Chinese, to illustrate the design concept, theme and elements of the design work, via an online application form on the Club’s website. Entries close at 23:59 on 14 August 2020.  

Five winners will each win a $10,000 cash prize. If the Club chooses to proceed with production of any merchandise based on any of the concept designs, the winning designer(s) will receive 10 pieces of the relevant souvenir product. The results will be announced on the Gift at Races website on 11 September. Winners will be notified individually for their prize collection.
