G1 – 2371m – Turf
| Albaflora | A smart filly but so far she has proved vulnerable when tackling G2 or G1 company. More positively she did surge to a runaway 7l victory in Listed company on soft ground at Ascot. |
| Wonderful Tonight | Continued her progress from last season when returning with a stunning Royal Ascot G2 victory on suitably slow ground. Her G2 win at Goodwood last time was decisive but she is better at this trip than that 2800m. |
| Divinely | Looked to thrive on the muddy ground when winning a 1600m G3 at The Curragh in 2020, her only win so far. Some decent runs in top events this season but without looking like winning. |
| Eshaada | Lightly-raced but a long-striding filly whose trainer thinks she will be well suited to York. Despite a wide trip and racing too keenly, she very nearly won a G2 over this trip at Royal Ascot on her latest start. |
| La Joconde | Trained by Aidan O’Brien who has a fine record in this, but facts and figures suggest that this filly will be a big-priced outsider here, having twice been very well beaten in G1 company. |
| Loving Dream | Had begun to look disappointing until Royal Ascot when – despite a wide trip – she was pushed into the lead 400m out in a G2 over this trip, and always just in control after. Rested since then, she could progress further. |
| Snowfall | Has developed from a good into a champion filly this year. She led from the gate to win a G3 here in May, before destroying her rivals in G1 Classics at Epsom and The Curragh with devastating acceleration. Hard to beat if still at the top of her game. |
