1400m – Turf

1 Agincourt Though without a win since 2019, she has sometimes been only narrowly beaten. Further back she won over this course and distance. Stable has a good record in this.
2 Thunder Beauty Has only won a single race but raced in higher company when Irish trained. Having her first start for this trainer who has won this race three times in the past 10 years.
3 Star Of Emaraaty The shock winner of a G3 on fast ground at Newmarket last year. Less good runs since but her third in a fast-ground Newmarket handicap last time was encouraging.
4 Lottie Marie Her four wins have all come on all-weather surfaces and she again disappointed on turf on her latest start. Hard to fancy.
5 Rising Star Facts and figures suggest recent improvement, running a strong second at Newmarket and then winning at Musselburgh. She stays well so a strong pace would assist.
6 Setarhe Was second in a Royal Ascot G3 as a two-year-old but some disappointing displays followed including one at this track. First start of 2021 and debut also for this stable.
7 Affable This Irish-trained filly is having her tenth run of the season but seems to thrive on the activity and cruised past rivals to gain an easy victory at Cork last time.
8 Spirit Of Bermuda Since she won her second consecutive handicap, over this trip at Newmarket in July this race has been the likely target. But this improving filly does need fast ground.
9 Sweet Enough Won’t be one of the stars of her top stable but she is certainly on an upward curve, winning her last two starts. But she does face a 7lb rise for her recent Yarmouth win.
10 Arabian Romance Lightly raced but has won two of his three 2021 starts, thriving on a fast surface. Briefly looked in trouble at Leicester last time before delivering a strong winning kick.
11 Arousing Favourite in an all-weather handicap last time but was hanging and never looked happy on that track. Has won two of her four starts and is a half-sister to a G1 winner.
12 Separate Has run in some warm handicaps on her last three starts but has been well beaten each time. Has won at this trip but her handicap mark may need to sink further.
13 Improvised Beaten on her first start but has won all three since, latterly in a handicap over this trip at Epsom, adapting to that track well and finishing powerfully. More progress likely.
14 Coul Queen Smart at this trip, beating 11 rivals in a handicap around Chester’s bends in July. Taken for a Listed event at Deauville, finished fast over an inadequate 1200m.
15 Makinitup May be best suited to a slow surface as she has won her last two starts – at Lingfield – on slow ground. That latest win was gained quite convincingly.
