The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 developments. In view of the latest overall development and the situation in individual communities, the Club has decided to temporarily close some of its Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs) until further notice. Other OCBBs will be open before the Season Finale (13 and 14 July) to provide services including betting on local races, cashing-in of vouchers or winning tickets, and betting account deposits or withdrawals. Betting services for football will not be available at OCBBs, and account opening or account related services, self-vending machines and “Caring Hearts” community service will also be suspended.

The following OCBBs will be temporarily closed:

• Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre
• Des Voeux Road West, Western (118 Connaught Road West)
• Lucky Plaza, Sha Tin
• Sha Kok Street, Sha Tin
• Tropicana, Wong Tai Sin
• Wan Fung Street, Wong Tai Sin
• Choi Wan

Latest arrangements for services at the open OCBBs before the Season Finale are as follows:

– All customers are required to receive temperature screening before entry and wear surgical masks inside the OCBBs.

– Hand sanitisers will be provided at the entrances and exits of the OCBBs.

– Special measures will be implemented inside the OCBBs to ensure appropriate social distancing.

– To prevent over-crowding, customers are required to leave the OCBBs after the completion of service.
