G3 – 1993m – Turf
| Berlin Tango | Relatively experienced and best run yet when won G3 well on all-weather this month. A live contender. |
| Kenzai Warrior | Won both races last year including G3 at Newmarket over 1400m but well behind after poor start in this month’s G1 2,000 Guineas. Unlikely to be good enough. |
| First Receiver | Easy, impressive winner of maiden race over 1600m this month. This much tougher but obvious contender. |
| Juan Elcano | Promising last year and creditable 5th in G1 2,000 Guineas this month at 66-1. Should like extra 400m. Live chance. |
| King Carney | Won twice last year, both on soft ground. Well behind in this month’s Derby Trial at Lingfield. May prefer this distance and faster ground but an unlikely winner. |
| Mascat | Won five runner maiden over 1600m at Newmarket last year. Unlikely to be good enough. |
| New World Tapestry | Well beaten all three runs since winning maiden race last year, including when 250-1 in G1 2,000 Guineas. Victory would be a major shock. |
| Russian Emperor | 2nd in five runner G3 over 2000m in Ireland only eight days ago. As representative of powerful stable needs respect. |
