G2 – 1600m – Turf
| Magic Lily | Travels well and fights hard, qualities that saw her thrive at Meydan earlier this year, including two G2 wins. However she would benefit from a longer trip than this. |
| Agincourt | A four-times winner, having her first Ascot start. Ran a fair race at Kempton on her 2020 return considering she was giving weight to most of her rivals. |
| Iconic Choice | The stable is going quite well and Oisin Murphy rides for the first time. Even so, she’s been well beaten in her last seven starts. |
| Invitational | Has sometimes played up at the stalls but seems genuine and has won four of her nine starts, including in Listed company in France. |
| Jubiloso | From a stable with a good record in this and this filly was a good third in a G1 (1594m) at this meeting last year, a career-best performance. |
| Lavender’s Blue | Has tried further but judging by two excellent starts late last season this is her ideal trip. Fourth in a G1 on the last of those, and a shade unlucky in running. |
| Miss O Connor | A lightly-raced unbeaten mare who has won off an 85-day and 77-day break so the gap since her excellent G3 victory at Saint-Cloud is no worry. Likes to be up front. |
| Nazeef | Has matured into an exciting filly, winning her last four starts and, despite not an ideal trip, she pounced to beat some strong rivals at Kempton this month. |
| Posted | Her two career wins have come in fast ground handicaps over shorter than this. Not beaten far on her 2020 return but not an obvious winner. |
| Queen Power | Encouraging that she relaxed much better early on than she sometimes has when a solid runner-up in a 2000m G2 at Newmarket this month. |
| Wasmya | Although not yet proven her French trainer seems sure she’ll stay. She won three consecutive races last season and made an encouraging 2020 return at Longchamp. |
