| 1 | Arecibo | This speedster has won after a break before and is also versatile groundwise. Doesn’t get his head in front often but does seem a genuine trier. |
| 2 | Dark Shot | Has a mountain to climb on ratings, the best that can be said is that his jockey has been in winning form since the resumption of racing in the UK. |
| 3 | Far Above | A lightly-raced winner of three of his four starts. Off for nearly a year but that last win was a career best in a Listed event at Deauville – and despite racing too keenly. |
| 4 | Judicial | A popular veteran who seemed as fast as ever last year. Loves to challenge off a strong pace, and he’s won at G3 level before. |
| 5 | Major Jumbo | Often races over further but he’s won over this trip, sometimes leading from the gate. Handles fast ground, but best on slower. |
| 6 | Moss Gill | Has an excellent win and place record. First run at Group level but worth a shot. |
| 7 | Ornate | Led from the gate to win a prestigious sprint handicap at Epsom last June. Has generally struggled in group race company but has won over this course and distance. |
| 8 | Tarboosh | An 11-times sprint winner with a big engine. A few niggly problems hindered his 2019 campaign but hit top form late in the year. Any rain welcomed. |
| 9 | The Cruising Lord | Did run a solid 4th in a G3 over this course and distance back in 2018. But well held on latest starts and a win would be a big shock. |
| 10 | Well Done Fox | Came with a late surge to twice win fast-ground Listed races over this distance in 2018. Had problems last year, racing only twice. |
| 11 | Hareem Queen | Will need to prove turf credentials with all four wins being on the all-weather. A terrific late surge saw her win a Listed race at Lingfield last time. |
| 12 | Queens Gift | A very effective handicapper in speed contests in 2019 and two good seconds in Listed company proved she could handle stronger company. |
| 13 | Shades Of Blue | A rare poor show on her final start, otherwise some excellent performances in 2019 including two narrow misses at G3 level. |
