G2 – 2392m – Turf

Altair Promising filly who will improve for step up in trip from the 1891m over which won minor four runner race at Gowran Park three weeks ago. This is a huge step up in class, probably too big.
Fanny Logan One of four John Gosden candidates. Promising third in Listed Cheshire Oaks 10 days after won novice race at Wetherby. May want faster ground to show her best.
Fleeting Supplemented after finishing fine third in Oaks over 2405m having previously finished last over 1600m in 1000 Guineas. Won G2 May Hill Stakes last year. Aidan O’Brien has won this race three times in last five years. Excellent chance.
Frankellina Lost ground at start of G3 Musidora Stakes over 2051m at York last month, came from last to be narrowly beaten in dead-heat second, staying on well. Will appreciate the longer trip and should improve. A live chance.
Fresnel Bargain €18,000 foal a live outsider after fourth, ahead of Altair, in Listed race at Navan behind Pink Dogwood (second in Oaks) then close fourth (Frankellina dead-heat second) in Musidora Stakes. Bit one paced and step up in trip a plus.
Love So Deep Improving this year and finished third in Listed race at Goodwood but this is a step too far.
Peach Tree Sporadically decent form as two-year-old. On latest run second in G3 at Cork, ahead of stablemate Chablis. That only six days ago and not good enough.
Queen Power 500,000 guineas yearling won sole run as two-year-old takingly, showing a smart turn of foot which was again on display when got up to win Listed race over 2000m at Newbury last month. Not certain to stay trip but expected to and has scope for improvement. A strong candidate.
Shambolic Fair form last year and runner-up in both races this season, latterly in Listed race at Goodwood over 1979m, just before Love So Deep. That not good enough and needs to improve for step up in trip.
Sparkle Roll Favourite when well beaten in Musidora Stakes behind Frankellina, Fresnel and I’ll Have Another. Expected to appreciate step up in trip but needs to.
Star Catcher Won maiden race well before very encouraging third, just beaten by Queen Power in Listed race over 2000m at Newbury last month. Should improve further and a lively contender.
