2392m – Turf

1 Constantinople Nicely bred horse brought along steadily and won G3 at Curragh over 2000m on latest outing with promise of more to come. Should like extra distance and be up to handicap mark of 105. Good chance.
2 Antilles Disappointing last in Listed race over 1400m at Curragh and again in G3 there over 2000m. Needs longer trip to help but looks badly handicapped.
3 Persian Moon Won three as 2-y-o and run respectably in G3 and two Listed races this year but not well handicapped.
4 Leroy Leroy Only won one of nine races but best form latest when stepped up to 2001m and sole 3-y-o in competitive 14 runner handicap at Redcar. Up 5lb but in the mix if suited by 2400m.
5 Kuwait Currency Won Listed race last year but outclassed in higher grade since. Last in G3 and Listed races this year and no chance on those efforts.
6 Sinjaari After winning maiden race at Windsor put up excellent performance in good handicap over 2000m at Newbury. Stayed on well to almost catch the useful Headman. Up 8lb but will improve.
7 Fox Premier 700,000 guineas yearling. Won two handicaps over 2000m in May, second one easily off handicap mark of 85. Improving fast but also up 11lb. Will do well to overcome that.
8 Good Birthday €500,000 yearling. Won handicap at Doncaster off mark of 82 then excellent close third to Headman and Sinjaari at Newbury, both over 2000m. On pedigree a doubtful stayer.
9 Almania 500,000 guineas yearling. Won maiden at Sandown last year but last in G2 Dante Stakes over 2051m at York on return. May prove better than that but needs to show it.
10 Summer Moon Bargain buy for 1,000 guineas. Stoutly bred and very progressive stepped up in trip this year, winning twice then narrowly beaten over 2905m. Big field and strong pace likely to suit. Fair chance.
11 Questionare Run in three novice races, winning first and beaten narrowly in two latest. Stays trip and likely to improve.
12 Sir Ron Priestley Trainer Mark Johnston has won this race six times and has an excellent chance of making it seven. Won both races easily this season, both over 2400m, latest a four runner handicap. Up 8lb for that but still well handicapped.
13 Kaloor Well beaten all three runs this season, latest in Listed race at Goodwood. Impossible to fancy.
14 South Pacific €1 million yearling. Won maiden on sixth attempt. Runner-up in conditions event latest. Doesn’t look good enough.
15 Severance Won novice race easily at Haydock before well beaten in good Listed race at Lingfield won by subsequent Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck. Unlikely to be good enough.
16 Great Example Run in three novice races, storming clear to win latest over 1955m. Further should suit him and probably well handicapped. Good chance.
17 Babbo’s Boy Better this year after wind surgery. Improved to win two four runner races but previously beaten easily by Sir Ron Priestley. Progressive but needs to be.
18 Eminence 425,000 guineas yearling. Improved this year and easily won handicap at Leopardstown before third in decent conditions race, both over 2000m. Should relish step up in trip but needs to improve.
19 Majestic Dawn Won maiden easily from front over 2200m at Newbury before well beaten in good handicap there over 2000m. Held by Sinjaari and Good Birthday on that run. Longer trip should help but still a tough task.
20 War Tiger Promising progressive handicapper until well behind in good handicap at Newbury over 2000m.
21 Gantier Not out of first three in last seven outings and steadily progressive but others better handicapped.
Reserve
22 Allmankind Stoutly bred and won maiden easily final run last yeat stepped up to 2000m. Last of six in Listed race at Chester over 2064m sole run this season. That is offputting.
