The Everest Day races to be simulcast for betting
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting nine races from the Everest Day to be held at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Australia on Saturday, 14 October (first race 10:05 Hong Kong time).
The Everest (1200m) has become a worldwide showcase racing event ever since its inception in 2017. It is the richest turf race in the world bosting a total prize pool of A$20 million. The 12 starters in this race are nominated by the 12 slot holders who have paid A$700,000 for the privilege.
The day also features the Group One 1600m contest King Charles III Stakes (formerly George Main Stakes), three Group Three races and the A$2 million mega showpiece for country-trained horses, the Kosciusko.
