Given that the No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal will be issued at 12:40pm today (Sunday, 8 October 2023), The Hong Kong Jockey Club announces that in the interest of public and equine safety, the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled today will be cancelled.

Refund arrangements

Cash betting
All cash bets will be refunded on presentation of tickets at any Off-course Betting Branch (OCBB) or at the racecourses during opening hours within 60 days of the relevant race meeting.

Betting via Telebet and Digital Channels
All bets placed through Telebet and Digital Channels will be refunded directly to the respective betting accounts.

On-course facilities
Patrons who have booked the facilities with credit cards will have the payment refunded to their credit card accounts. Those who purchased tickets with cash can obtain their refunds by presenting the receipts or admission tickets at the racecourses or any OCBBs within 14 days from today during opening hours.
