The Hong Kong Jockey Club bought one striking youngster out of the recent BBAG Yearling Auction 2023 at Baden-Baden, Germany for a total outlay of €85,000 (approx. HK$729,000).

Sold as Lot 217, the colt is by Toronado – a proven source of winners in Hong Kong, headlined by Victor The Winner, Senor Toba, Sweet Encounter and Toronado Phantom.

The bay’s dam In Vero We Trust has ties to champion mare Goldikova through her sire Anodin, sire of the Group 1-placed and Group 3-winning Savvy Nine. This is her first foal.
