To enhance the customer experience in racing wagering, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) will implement three new initiatives, offering more choices and jackpot opportunities. These new measures will take effect from Sunday, 8 January 2023 at the Sha Tin race meeting.
More choices for multi-race pools
The Club will offer more choices for Double Trio. Four Double Trios will be offered for night race meetings and five Double Trios for day meetings, instead of the original three Double Trios. Details of numbering for the Double Trio are as follows:

The Club will set up an Operator Reserve for the Double Trio and Six Up. Funds for the Operator Reserve will be deducted from the Club’s revenue, and the equivalent of 0.5% of respective pool turnover will be allocated to the Operator Reserve to top up jackpots for the Double Trio and Six Up pools for specific race meetings.

All Up and Cross Pool All Up betting selections with a maximum of three legs will be available for the Forecast pool, which currently only allows single-leg betting selection. The Trio will also offer Cross Pool All Up betting selection for up to three legs, in addition to the current All Up betting selection. Forecast and Trio will offer a total of seven betting pools for Cross Pool All Up. Details as follows:
