1500m – Polytrack

Baileys Diable

Three runs since win on deep ground in March have been forgettable but the handicapper is already beginning to relax his grip.  Back from a break.

Crystal Lady

Although her rating has slipped a fair way, her recent form does not inspire confidence.

Downeva

Won last time out when winning rider was able to take 3lb off his back and subsequent 4lb rise in rating may not prevent him from again playing a part in the finish.

Elwind

Won a Class 4 Handicap at this all-weather course and distance last November but has not shown much since. Needs a return to the scene of that win to spark a revival.

Glorious Bay

Busy over the winter on the all-weather but this will be a first start since February and he may be best watched for now.

Gold Shiva

Won a pair of handicaps over this all-weather course and distance during the winter and is now only 1lb higher in the handicap than when landing the second of them. Must have a decent chance with conditions to suit.

Kingsfold

All three career wins have come on the Deauville all-weather track (twice at 1300m and one at 1500m) but overall his form is regressive.

Mafalda Story

She has been put up 4lb for winning a Class 4 handicap by a nose. Still improving but she needs to defy a new career-high rating.

Mr Slicker

All-weather specialist who has been running over further but he finished second over this course and distance last December. Not inconceivable he could run well.

My Flinders

She hasn’t won for 20 starts and is hard to make much of a case for.

No Niki No

Two wins from her last four starts came at 1300m and 1400m but the additional 100m is less of a concern. Still one for place considerations.

Plenty City

Followed up two good placed efforts early in the spring when winning a Class 3 Handicap over 1600m on 1 May. Form has held up okay since and not discounted lightly.

Red Kitten

Will face the starter for the 90th time in his career. His win at Vichy two starts ago means he is on his highest handicap mark in two and a half years, so one or two others may be better treated.

Siglo De Oro

Entitled to improve on 11th place when back from a break and is consistent at this sort of level. Still he is paying the price in weight for his two wins earlier this year.

The Time

A win and a second from three starts at this distance on the Deauville all-weather means he should enjoy this test.

Viou

Only making his 12th career start so there could be more to come, though he has yet to win a race. Placed twice in five attempts in handicap company.
