Been largely out of form since his last win in December. Might be getting down to a more competitive handicap rating.

Avernes

She broke a losing streak going back over a year when scoring over 2400m at next door Clairefontaine two weeks ago. Interesting to see whether a rise of 5lb in her rating can stop her after that three length success.

Dungannon

After two winless seasons he has benefitted from being able to drop in grade this year and has two wins, a second and a third from six starts. Still capable of his revised handicap mark.

Flyingbeauty

Unshipped her jockey as the stalls opened two starts ago but put that disappointment behind her when a close third over 2400m last time out.

Moon Wolf

Not seen since taking fifth over 2500m of the Deauville all-weather track in March. Would be quite an effort to win off such a break. 

Morandi First

Been in good form at lesser tracks but big rise in handicap rating after two wins and his last run in June suggested the handicapper may have got a grip on his progress.

Never Without You

Mostly been running at shorter distances than this and last start over 2400m was in October 2020. No wins from 88 starts tells its own story.

Nice Stroke

Was rewarded for a consistent string of performances in Class 3 handicaps in Paris this year when winning last time out over 2200m.

Quick Flash

Had been running moderately over hurdles but last two starts on the Flat have been much improved, including an excellent effort latest when narrowly beaten over 2400m. 

Righteous Love

Has gone 12 starts since his last win in June 2021 and might be on the downgrade.

Situmeledemandais

It might not have been the greatest race ever run which he won last time and the jockey took 4lb off his back but he remains in good heart and another decent effort is on the cards.

Totem

Won a Class 2 handicap over 2400m two starts ago and although a lot of his recent efforts have been at lesser tracks, his fourth place in a competitive race at Clairefontaine 12 months ago is encouraging.
