06/01/2022 19:59

In view of the increasingly challenging COVID-19 epidemic situation in Hong Kong and the tightening of social distancing measures by the Government, the Hong Kong Jockey Club announces the following arrangements for Mark Six draw and the operation of Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs) with the objectives of addressing any cluster of customers at OCBBs and strengthening the public health protection of our customers and employees.

Postponement of Mark Six draw

To prevent over-crowding at OCBBs and allow more time for ticket purchase, the Mark Six draw with estimated $105 million First Division Prize Fund scheduled on this Saturday, 8 January will be postponed to Thursday, 20 January. All accepted bets remain valid. The Club will make further announcement for the draws after 20 January subject to the HKSAR Government’s prevailing COVID-19 measures.

Strengthen anti-epidemic measures at OCBBs

All OCBBs will implement additional measures with effect from 7 January 2022 as follows:

·         All customers are required to scan the LeaveHomeSafe QR code or provide their names, telephone numbers, the date and time of the visit on a specified form before entering the OCBBs. Traffic control will be implemented to prevent over-crowding.

·         Live video broadcast of horse races and football matches will be suspended. Only audio broadcast of horse races is available.

·         All Media Halls, Priority Card Zones and the Jockey Club Theatre in Tuen Mun will be closed until further notice.

·         The Wins Cafe at North Point OCBB will operate in full compliance with the requirements issued by the Secretary for Food and Health for the catering business.  No selling or supply of food or drink for consumption after 6 pm.

The Club will closely monitor the situation of COVID-19 and review the arrangements accordingly.
