In view of the latest worsening of COVID-19 epidemic in Hong Kong and after thoroughly reviewing the situation, the Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) announces the following arrangements for the operation of Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), Telebet and Mark Six draw with the objectives of further minimising the public health risk, and protecting the health and safety of our employees and customers.

Operation of Off-Course Betting Branches

Certain OCBBs* located in districts with severe outbreaks will be closed on 24 and 25 January. The opening OCBBs will only provide the services of deposit to or withdrawal from betting accounts and cashing-in vouchers or winning tickets.

From 26 January, all OCBBs will be temporarily closed until further notice.

Telebet services

With effect from 24 January, Telebet hotlines 1881, 1882, 1883, 1884, 1885, 1887, 1889, Priority Red Card and Quickline services will be temporarily suspended until further notice. 1886 Telebet Automated Services will maintain normal services.

Mark Six lottery draw

After the Mark Six lottery draw on 27 January, Mark Six bets will only be accepted via 1886 Telebet Automated Services or Interactive Services, including Online Betting Service (eWin) and Mobile Betting Service. In addition, no snowball amount will be allocated to the draw on 5 February. Subject to the epidemic situation, the Club will consider to hold Snowball draw again when appropriate.

The Club will continue to closely monitor the development of the epidemic and will announce the update arrangements in a timely manner.
