G3 – 2000m – Turf
Algiers |
Beaten four lengths by the classy Grand Glory in G3 latest. Others preferred but dangerous to discard entirely. |
Diamond Vendome |
Six-year-old who had been picking up lesser races before running second in a G3 behind Grand Glory. If that effort does not flatter him then not without a chance. |
Kenway |
Ultra-consistent and third in G3 over 1,600m last time. Yet to totally convince over 2,000m but if he settles, his finishing kick could be tough to resist. |
Monty |
Progressed up the ladder under previous trainer and fourth place in G1 Prix Ganay gives him a decent chance on form. Listed win last time came on good ground, since when he has changed stables. |
No Limit Credit |
Incredibly consistent at Group 2 and 3 level and she seems to perform on any type of going. Might just find one or two too strong at the finish but no surprise if she were to be placed again. |
Seachange |
Progressive at this 2,000m distance and can be forgiven two poor efforts over further earlier in the season. Comes here in form after two wins. |
Wally |
Gained Listed and Group wins over 1,600m in the spring before successfully moving up to 2,000m. Has a real turn of foot when coming late and could defy 4lb G2 penalty from win in Milan last time. |
