1200m – Turf

Al Ula

Beaten less than a length in fourth over this course and distance in a handicap reserved for three-year-olds. Has gained plenty of experience already and she is interesting in this company.

Be Ahead

First run since winning a Chantilly Class 2 handicap over 1,200m in April. A chance if she can recapture that form after a break.

Bonarda

Fair seventh at long odds on comeback from a four month break. Entitled to improve but again likely to be among the outsiders.

Coco City

The handicapper has dropped him 22lb since the beginning of 2020 and while he is well-weighted on his old form, it might be difficult to trust him.

Dayyan

His win in a Cologne handicap means a higher rating which enables him to get into this better race. Did win at Chantilly in 2019 but his record is 6-8-7 on his last three visits to France.

Havana Bound

Only out of the reckoning once in her last eight starts on the all-weather including a good win at Deauville last time. Finished 15th over this course and distance in her sole start on turf in the last 12 months.

Kilfrush Memories

Second in this race 12 months ago, since when he has been kept busy with 10 starts. Finally got back in the winners’ circle on his latest run.

Kiloecho

Won a course and distance Class 2 handicap here last month, just getting the better of Tudo Bem. Could go close.

King Robbe

Went up 7lb for winning over 1,400m at Longchamp in April. Best run since was when second to Tudo Bem at level weights in a Chantilly conditions race.

Millfield

Has only run at this sprint distance once in his last 24 starts and generally preferred over 1,400m or 1,600m. Capable on his day.

Raysteve

Enjoying a fine year with two wins and only once out of first four in seven starts. Worth considering.

Red Torch

Not quite in the same form as when fifth here in a Group 2 last May. Has a bit to find with Kiloecho and Tudo Bem on the basis of their meeting last month.

Simply Striking

Model of consistency in sprint handicaps and only 1lb higher in the ratings than when winning over 1,300 metres here last August.

Torpen

Has been carrying big weights in claimers and lesser handicaps so he might enjoy this, though his overall profile suggests he is some way off the best of these.

Tudo Bem

Has made relentless progress this year with eight top four finishes including two wins. Close-up fourth in a Listed race nine days ago and he can go close off top weight here.

Wejdan

Only once out of the first three since joining her current trainer from Britain, including two recent wins. This is tougher but she demands respect.
