Additional Veterinary Reports from 1 November 2017 Race Meeting

Race 1 – SMILING GLORY

SMILING GLORY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  SMILING GLORY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K L Man this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  Before being allowed to race again, SMILING GLORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Race 3 – GREAT TOPLIGHT

The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that GREAT TOPLIGHT had sustained an injury to the outside of the left front suspensory branch on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, GREAT TOPLIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Race 7

GIOVANNI BATTISTA

The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that GIOVANNI BATTISTA had sustained an injury to the right front tendon on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, GIOVANNI BATTISTA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

MAMBO ROCK

MAMBO ROCK, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  MAMBO ROCK was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  Before being allowed to race again, MAMBO ROCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
