1 Trapeze Artist Kept fresh since outstanding 4.3 lengths win from Champagne Cuddles in G1 Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill on 23 September. Responded positively to blinkers going back on last time. Drop in distance no issue and likely to race just off speed. Capable all conditions but three wins have come on good ground.
2 Kementari Back sharply in trip after neck 2nd to Mighty Boss in G1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on 14 October. Not worse than fourth in five career starts and one win came at 1400m on soft ground. Likely to settle just off the pace.
3 The Mission Comes back in distance after 10.25 lengths 12th to Mighty Boss in G1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) on 14 October. Generally leads and two wins have come on heavy ground at 1400m and 1600m.
4 Summer Passage Runner-up to Perast at 1400m on 1 October before 2.75 lengths 6th to Formality in G3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Generally races handy and capable all conditions. Both wins have come at this distance.
5 Viridine Unbeaten in four career starts at 1100m and 1200m on good and soft ground. Strong effort when 2 lengths winner from Single Bullet in G2 Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 7 October. Generally races handy to the speed.
6 Jukebox Won first three starts before 0.75 lengths 2nd to Catchy in G2 Danehill Stakes, this course and distance, on 16 September and long neck 2nd to Formality in G3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Races handy and capable all conditions.
7 Goodfella Strong finishing effort when 0.5 lengths winner from Piracy in Listed Crowley Stakes (1200m) at Randwick, on soft ground, on 21 October. That followed 1400m win on good rated track. Capable all conditions and while has some versatility in racing pattern, is generally ridden back.
8 Merchant Navy Freshened up since having little luck when 8.6 lengths 10th to Trapeze Artist in G1 Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill on 23 September. Had won previous four starts in Melbourne at 1200m and 1400m and on good and soft ground. Likely to settle midfield.
9 Dracarys Freshened since 6.9 lengths 8th to Trapeze Artist in G1 Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill on 23 September. That followed 1300m win in track record time in the G3 Up And Coming Stakes. Has won on good and soft ground. Versatile racing style.
10 Eptimum Keeps rising in class and winning. Strong front-running effort, from wide draw, last Saturday when 3 lengths winner from Single Bullet in G3 Red Anchor Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley. Unbeaten in three starts on good ground; racing on speed.
11 Lone Eagle Slow to begin and ran on well when 1.6 lengths 3rd to Formality in G3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Shows some promise but up in class. All runs have been on dry tracks.
12 Malahat Led when 1.9 lengths 4th to Goodfella in Listed Crowley Stakes (1200m) at Randwick, on soft ground, on 21 October. That followed 2 lengths 4th to Viridine in Listed Heritage Stakes (1100m) on 16 September. Has early speed. Wins have come on good ground but handled soft reasonably well last start.
13 Andaz Ran on when 0.6 lengths 3rd to Goodfella in Listed Crowley Stakes (1200m) at Randwick, on soft ground, on 21 October. Had won two of previous three starts including a victory down this straight track. Races handy and has performed on good and soft ground.
14 Wassergeist Sound effort when 1 length 3rd to Snitzepeg in Listed Gothic Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on 21 October. Has turned in three sound good track runs since unplaced at debut on soft track. This is first run short of 1300m. Likely to be midfield on settling.
15 Houtzen Led throughout to win G3 Scarborough Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on 29 September. Then took on all comers in A$10 million The Everest (1200m) at Randwick on 14 October and finished 3.2 lengths 7th to Redzel after sharing lead with winner. Generally leads and capable all conditions.
16 Catchy Ran on well when 1.3 lengths 3rd to Mighty Boss in G1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on 14 October. Impressive winner of the G2 Danehill Stakes this course and distance in September. Best form on good ground but had limited exposure to soft. Strong finisher.
17 Tulip Performed best of the three-year-olds taking on older horses in the A$10 million The Everest at Randwick on 14 October when 2.6 lengths 5th to Redzel. Quality filly capable all conditions and generally ridden off the speed.
18 Formality Failed in the G1 Golden Rose at 1400m before maintaining good record at this distance with long neck win from Jukebox in G3 Blue Sapphire (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Won five of seven on dry tracks; placed one of two on heavy ground. Generally races close to speed.
19 Invincible Star Showed great speed from wide draw when 4-length winner from Counterplay in G3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 14 October. One other win, in four starts, was down the straight 1000m course here last year when also showed good speed. All runs have been on good ground.
20 Limestone Freshened since 4.25 lengths 5th to Booker in G2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield on 1 October. Won two races at 1000m including one down the straight course. All runs have been on good ground. Can be ridden forward or back.
