G2 – 1200m – Turf

1 Illustrious Lad Sound effort when nose 2nd to Super Cash in G2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on 14 October. Has great record down the straight 1200m course including winning this race last year. Usually races on speed and performs on good and soft ground.
2 Keen Array Won G2 Gilgai Stakes this course and distance on 7 October before nose 2nd to Rich Charm in Listed Village Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Usually leads or races right on speed. Handles good and soft ground and proven down straight course.
3 The Monstar Racing well in strong company. Latest was 2.1 lengths 4th to In Her Time in Listed Sydney Stakes (1200m) on 14 October. Races close to speed and handles all conditions. Twice been placed down the straight course.
4 Derryn Settled long way back and made no impression at second run this season when 6.8 lengths 13th to In Her Time in Listed Sydney Stakes (1200m) on 14 October. Past two wins have been on very soft ground, finishing strongly on each occasion. Unplaced but not disgraced at two previous straight runs.
5 First Among Equals Fair effort, at first run for this stable and first since July, when 2.9 lengths 7th of 8 to Super Cash in G2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on 14 October. Former Perth galloper who generally races handy to the pace. Bulk of racing has been on firm ground but has performed well in only runs on soft. Unknown down straight.
6 Lope De Capio Won past two in South Australia. Finished well in 1.9 lengths win from Casino Wizard in Listed Durbridge Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville on 14 October. Can be ridden forward or back and proven on good, soft and heavy ground. Unknown down straight course.
7 Missrock Found the 1000m too short when 5.5 lengths 7th to Snitty Kitty in G2 Caulfield Sprint on 21 October. G1 placed to Vega Magic at this distance and is a winner down the straight course. Handles good and soft ground. Likely to settle well off speed.
8 Bons Away Won four straight before 0.7 lengths 4th to Keen Array in G2 Gilgai Stakes, at this course and distance, on 7 October. Strong finisher who is comfortable on good and soft ground.
9 Ravi Blocked for clear run and probably should have won when 0.3 lengths 3rd to Savanna Amour in G3 How Now Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 23 September. Usually ridden back but not incapable of racing handy. Handles all conditions. Ran well (5th of 18) at only previous straight course appearance.
10 Malibu Style Consistent, on pace sprinter. Ran 0.2 lengths 3rd to Keen Array in G2 Gilgai Stakes, at this course and distance, on 7 October before 2.7 lengths 7th to Rich Charm in Listed Village Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Capable on good and soft ground.
11 Rich Charm Narrow but impressive winner by a nose from Keen Array in the Listed Village Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 18 October. Usually settles just behind speed and has won on good and soft ground. Easy winner at only previous start down the straight 1200m course.
12 Sold For Song Beaten a nose when 2nd to Keen Array in G2 Gilgai Stakes, at this course and distance, on 7 October. Then caught wide throughout when 5.6 lengths 12th to Global Glamour in G2 Tristarc Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on 21 October. Consistent performer likely to settle midfield or back. Capable all conditions but three wins have come on soft ground.
13 Le Cordon Bleu Failed to feature at first run since May when 4.9 lengths last of 8 behind Super Cash in G2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on 14 October. Generally settled well back in his races and prefers good ground. Last win was Listed race at 1200m. Unknown down straight course.
14 Sweet Sherry Fair effort when 3.6 lengths 5th to Snitty Kitty in G2 Caulfield Sprint (1000m) on 21 October. Talented mare generally ridden back and has performed well in two runs (one win) out of three down the straight course. Capable all conditions, unbeaten in two runs on soft rated tracks.
15 Man From Uncle Resumes from spell. Won the G3 Eskimo Prince Stakes at this distance when resuming from break in February. Lightly raced and promising galloper who’s won three of only six starts. Won on good and soft. Can race handy.
