| 1 | Al Raya | Well backed to win on her debut at Nottingham earlier this month this speedily bred filly looked very inexperienced, wandering about. Only just beaten, it was a promising start. |
| 2 | American Lady | Has progressed race by race without managing a win in four starts. Last time in a 1200m G3 at Naas she briefly looked as though she had stolen it, only to be swallowed up late on suggesting the drop back to 1000m would be suitable. |
| 3 | Anna’s Fast | From the US stable that have a terrific 27% winning Royal Ascot strike-rate with two-year-olds over this 1000m and Anna’s Fast looks a live contender having blasted out of the gates, led all the way and demolished her six opponents by 5.5L and upwards in a 900m maiden on the Keeneland dirt in April. |
| 4 | Applecross | Her trainer said she had been working very well at home so was not surprised she made a winning debut. That came on firm ground over this distance at Bath when she took time to get going but quickened decisively when it mattered. |
| 5 | Brand New Day | From a French stable who have enjoyed two-year-old success at Royal Ascot before. Won her first two starts – at Saint-Cloud and Chantilly – and was then just caught out by a fast-finisher in a conditions’ event over 1100m at Maisons-Laffitte. |
| 6 | Daughter In Law | She is all speed and, improving for her first two starts, convincingly led from gate to wire to win a 1000m maiden at The Curragh last month. She looked very comfortable on the fast ground there. |
| 7 | Divine Spirit | Out of a mare who herself finished 2nd in this G2 dash. Very keen on the way to the start for her debut in a Windsor novices’ event in May but very professional in the race itself, winning nicely and beating some well-regarded rivals. |
| 8 | Emten | Made a winning debut in a novices’ event at Windsor. She was taking on colts there but she was racing on the best part of the track and plenty of her victims there have been well beaten since. |
| 9 | Final Song | She made her debut on rain-soaked ground over this course and distance in May. Leading from the gate, she was asked to quicken in the last 200m which she did decisively. Could be a major force here. |
| 10 | Flaming Princess | Unloved in the betting but this speedily bred filly made a winning start at Nottingham this month. Fast away, she led 400m out before being headed and then rallying to beat the well-regarded Al Raya, with the pair clear of the next filly home. |
| 11 | Flippa The Strippa | A winner at Chepstow on her second start she was then elevated to Listed company at Sandown. Unfancied in the betting but she stormed through from the back to win easily, despite wandering in the closing stages. Possibilities here. |
| 12 | Good Vibes | Has raced on fast ground on all three starts and has decisively won her last two. Latterly she was buried away off the speed in an 18-runner Listed event at York in May, before scooting through to win. |
| 13 | Ickworth | Not very big but powerful. Has won both starts in good style, latterly when showing too much pace for her rivals in a Listed event at The Curragh, though admittedly that form has not been much enhanced since. |
| 14 | Isabeau | Blinkered today as she was for her first start when today’s rider Leigh Roche steered her to quite an easy victory in that Down Royal maiden. However second and third have not distinguished themselves since and she’ll be an outsider here. |
| 15 | Kemble | An encouraging 3rd on her first start, and a decisive winner second time – sitting handy and surging clear late on in a maiden over this distance under this rider at Windsor. Her nearest victim there has boosted the form with an easy win since. |
| 16 | Kimari | US challenger is bred to be fast and that is exactly what she looked when leading almost from the start and drawing further and further clear of her four rivals in a 900m maiden on the Keeneland dirt in April. |
| 17 | Lambeth Walk | She has started favourite for both starts and won each. Her stable’s runners are usually very fast from the gate as she was in those races at Windsor and Chelmsford where despite being taken wide she outspeeded her rivals. |
| 18 | Liberty Beach | From the stable that won this last year and they have a nice prospect with this unbeaten filly, winning at Redcar and Beverley, latterly travelling smoothly off the pace on fast ground and scoring comfortably despite not have a great passage. |
| 19 | Love Bracelet | Aidan O’Brien – Royal Ascot’s leading stable nine times – haven’t had much influence in this race though. She wasn’t beaten far in a 1200m maiden at The Curragh last month, but didn’t give the impression she’d have the pace to win this. |
| 20 | Mighty Spirit | Has finished a good 2nd on both her starts, latterly in a strong 18-runner Listed event on fast ground at York last month. Not best drawn there and slowly away but she showed a lot of pace, only outspeeded by smart Good Vibes late on. |
| 21 | Multiply By Eight | From a stable that won this race with her half-sister in 2012. Slowly away and under pressure early in a novices’ event at Sandown last month but once she got the hang of things she finished so fast she nearly grabbed 2nd. |
| 22 | Partridge | Narrowly beaten in a Salisbury maiden on her first start, last month, and again came close to winning in a Haydock novices’ event recently. However she looks as though she may need a longer trip than this, especially against rivals this strong. |
| 23 | Raffle Prize | Second on her debut at Newmarket, leading for much of the way, and despite missing the break at Chester later last month, she quickly led along the rail and won that maiden nicely. She drops down to 1000m but doesn’t look short of speed. |
| 24 | Shadn | She made her debut in a 1200m maiden at Kempton this month, and, getting a nice run through, she was quite a decisive winner. She drops down in distance, moves onto the grass and rises sharply in class for this second career effort. |
| 25 | Tango | Her great stable don’t have such a formidable record in this race as other Royal Ascot events. However she has done little wrong so far and looked good to the eye when smoothly winning a Navan maiden earlier this month. |
| 26 | Theory Of Time | James Doyle who rides her again today didn’t have to get too serious on her in order to win a novice’s event at Windsor last month. That was over further but the drop back to 1000m should be fine for this filly who has a lot of speed in her pedigree. |
| 27 | Too Shy Shy | Hasn’t got the positive profile of so many fillies in this race. On her latest start she finished 5L 6th behind rival here Shadn over 1200m on the all-weather at Kempton. Very hard to fancy her chance. |
| 28 | Ventura Flame | Unfancied in the betting, but she made a positive start to her racing career when runner-up in a slow ground maiden at Carlisle, leading briefly before being outspeeded late on. She might not have quite the pace of some of these rivals. |
