RACE 1 – THOUSAND CUPS

THOUSAND CUPS, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. THOUSAND CUPS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, THOUSAND CUPS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 4 – ZHOU GONGJIN

After the race, ZHOU GONGJIN was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. ZHOU GONGJIN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer B Crawford this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, ZHOU GONGJIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 5 – FUN ELITE

FUN ELITE, which finished tailed out, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FUN ELITE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, FUN ELITE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
