Farewell Ceremony for Joao Moreira Photo Release

Jockey Joao Moreira, 4-time Hong Kong Champion Jockey, will leave Hong Kong after today’s (11 December) race meeting. The Club’s Chief Executive Officer Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges and Executive Director, Racing, Mr Andrew Harding presented a silver dish and a souvenir to jockey Moreira in the Parade Ring of the Sha Tin Racecourse before the running of Race 1, in recognition of his incredible achievement in Hong Kong. He has set a slew of records, including the most win in a season with 170 wins and most win at a single Hong Kong meeting with eight wins.
