Enters off three consecutive runner-up finishes, most recently at class and distance on 16 July when handy from gate 5. Yet to win in nineteen starts but eight top-three finishes and placing chances again.

Geumjayu

Had a hard time when drawn widest of eight at class and distance on 16 July. Big improvement needed.

Gray Cat

Consistent. Ran 2nd on his first try at this class over 1800m on 30 July. Tactically versatile, on his latest outings he has settled back and run on.

K N Light

Winner of three in a row between February and April at distances from 1400m to 1800m from both on the pace and from behind. First start since but looked well in an August trial. Up in class and draw a challenge.

Manseok Jigi

A winner of six, he made all to win at this class over 1800m on 23 July. Goes best when on pace so draw can be a big factor.

Mighty Wing

Placed at this class in March but form has gone cold since. Change of trip today may help.

Money Champ

A winner at this class over 1400m in May but has struggled in three starts since. Back up in trip here.

Thunder Champ

Hasn’t had much luck with the draw recently although he overcame it three starts back to win over 1200m. Most of his form is over that distance so this is an unknown, but he is an on-pace type so it may suit.

Yeolrin Mun

Defied big odds to run 2nd over 1800m at his latest start on 31 July, arresting a run of very average form. Not always the quickest out of the gate but great draw today.
