Alpinius

Third at a higher level last weekend at this track. Runs over 300m further here and the trip seems his limit but he has won over it before.

Aojana

Only two runs this season, so far not being able to repeat the good form of last season. Returns from a small break yet again.

Autumn

Dual winner in this class. Very easy win against good opponent last time. Trip slightly further which could be beneficial.

Chipping Away

Third over course and distance in May. Always thereabouts but rather hard to win with. Trainer in good form.

Dormio

Prefers smaller tracks. Even though he is ridden by an apprentice claiming jockey it will be tough under a penalty.

Earl

This seven-year-old gelding looks high enough in the weights. He was a course and distance winner in 2020 but that was off a significantly lower handicap mark.

Magic Carousel

Easy winner twice in her last three starts (saddle slipped in the other race). Was hit by a 10lb rise in the weights for latest win which might not be enough to stop her with stable in flying form. This longer trip should suit and the German Champion jockey booked.

New Moon

Missed nearly all of 2021. Largely in very good form this year, but was 10.5L behind Magic Carousel latest whom he meets on 10lb better terms.

Rufolo

Winner at this track over same trip in May. Likes good ground, and after winning three races in succession earlier in the year he might be in the grip of the handicapper for the time being.

Saphira Dream

Likes it here and running over her best trip. Returns from a small break but so far yet to regain her good form of last season.
