G1 – 2371m – Turf

Alpinista |
Remarkable mare, winning G1’s in Germany and France on her last four starts, delivering knock-out blows to her opponents late on. This is her trip, she handles any ground and is super tough. |
2 |
La Petite Coco |
Has kept winning despite facing tougher and tougher opposition, especially good as she was fit enough to win a G1 at The Curragh after a 287 day break, in June. Good or slower ground ideal. |
3 |
Lilac Road |
Managed a winning surge from the back despite a slow pace when landing a G2 at York in May. Didn’t have a great trip when third in a G1 at Goodwood. Up in trip which is expected to suit. |
4 |
Magical Lagoon |
Really progressive filly who backed up a G2 Royal Ascot victory with a G1 win at The Curragh. Ideal trip here but facing older rivals for the first time. |
5 |
Poptronic |
A G3 winner on the Newcastle all-weather track in June, and her second in Listed company here last month was another fine effort. But up in class, and not sure to thrive at this longer trip. |
6 |
Raclette |
Supplemented, she has won her last two starts and responded to pressure to gain a narrow G2 victory at Longchamp last month. Admittedly the form of that race has not been enhanced since. |
7 |
Tuesday |
Won a thriller for the Oaks at Epsom under a power-packed Ryan Moore ride. That career best was followed by a poor show when taking on the colts in the Irish Derby. Better expected. |
