His best performances have arguably come over 1600m, though his tries at 1800m and 2000m have been against good opposition.

Closely matched with Athabascan on their meeting in a Class 1 in May but he is beginning to look exposed with one win from eight starts.

Only a fair 4th when taking a big step up in class to tackle G3 over 2400m on most recent start. Drop back to 2000m and Listed level could both help his cause.

Lassaut

Looked exciting when landing informative conditions’ race in April and ran better than finishing positions of fifth and eighth would suggest in G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains over 1600m and G1 Prix du Jockey Club at 2100m. Needs to improve sluggish starts but has a lot of talent and form is way clear of his rivals.

Behind Athabascan when fourth in Listed race over 2000m. Needs to rediscover the form he showed in May when runner-up in German G3.
