Eternal Pearl

Has taken a big step forward since moving up to 2400m, winning a Listed race over that distance in July at Newmarket. She will need to settle better than she did that day but holds strong claims if she can do so.

Fennela

She faced a huge rise in class when contesting the G1 Irish Oaks last time and what chance she had was ended when she stumbled on the bend. Her trainer has already sent one Group winner over from Ireland to this meeting and clearly she is held in high regard.

Kawida

She ran a fair race in Group 3 company over 2100m on her previous visit to France when a slow pace was against her. She has been set a couple of stiff tasks since then and this looks a good opportunity.

Lastotchka

Failed by a head in a G2 over 2400m last time. She had to wait a long time for the gap to appear that day and was arguably unlucky not to win.

Melo Melo

Two wins from three starts, the last being a comfortable success in a Class 1 over 2500m. She needs to improve again but it may be to her advantage she has avoided too many hard races.

Queen Trezy

Tremendously consistent at Group level over both 1600m and around 2000m but she never got competitive last time out when a distant 14th in the G1 Prix de Diane. If the new distance of 2400m does not prove beyond her, can go close.

Sea The Sky

She got outpaced turning for home in a Class 2 over 2400m last time but showed stamina is her game when closing to be a good third. Plenty to find on the book but that improvement is not out of the question.

Winema

Flew home late when beaten by a neck in a Listed race against the colts over 2400m. She has something to find on ratings but her shrewd trainer has a good record when targeting Group races.

Zefania

She has a little over two lengths to find with Lastotchka on their meeting in a French G2 over 2400m. Having previously been third in the same grade in Italy.
