Clearly progressive he has won five of his ten starts, last time when leading throughout in a 2400m conditions’ event at Longchamp. Deserves a chance to prove himself at this higher grade.

Glycon

Swooped from the back to comfortably beat nine rivals in this last year, winning again at Deauville – in a G2 – later in August. Has had a break since a solid third in a Chantilly G2 in early June.

Iresine

Remarkably has won nine of his 12 starts, including a G3. Most recently had no difficulty justifying favouritism in a heavy-ground Listed event at Lyon Parilly. Now with a chance to prove himself at Deauville.

Mr De Pourceaugnac

Made late headway to finish 3L fourth in this last year. Handles this trip but usually competes over shorter, and a close fourth in a 2000m G3 at Longchamp last time.

Panjaman

A six-time winner with a consistent profile and a tough fighter as he showed with recent narrow victories at Saint-Cloud. But he rises in class here, and some rivals look too strong for him.

Skazino

A high class stayer who grabbed a last-stride victory over 3000m here last August, and in great form again when winning a 3100m Longchamp G2 in May. Wants a swift pace over this shorter trip.
