G3 – 1594m – Turf
1 |
Novemba |
This German-trained filly has twice visited Ascot before, posting good efforts each time, including when leading for much of the trip at Royal Ascot last time. Slowing ground hoped for. |
2 |
Romantic Rival |
Looks to have improved since moving to this stable but will need to have improved again to win this. Galloped past plenty of better fancied rivals to win at Kempton last month. |
3 |
Serenading |
Mostly seen in handicaps, whilst her 0-12 winning record on turf is hardly encouraging. Effective at this trip but well beaten on her last two starts. |
4 |
Eidikos |
Debut run at Ascot and ratings also suggest that she has a difficult task here. Has run two decent races out of three starts this season but others look preferred. |
5 |
Jumbly |
Started favourite for a 1600m G2 at Dusseldorf last month but only sixth after a poor passage. Despite racing too eagerly she came close to winning a Newbury G3 in April. |
6 |
Kind Gesture |
She has only competed in maiden and novice company but looks fast on the upgrade having surged to a 10L victory over this trip on fast ground last time. |
7 |
Oscula |
Although she ran a dismal race when tried on dirt at Riyadh in February, she is usually super consistent at a good level on the grass here. Is tough, seeming to thrive on racing. |
8 |
Snooze N You Lose |
Up to this trip for the first time but she has generally been performing well this season including with a comfortable front-running victory in a Listed race at Musselburgh in June. |
9 |
Zanbaq |
Showed what she could do when running a cracking second of 28 in a Royal Ascot handicap over the straight 1600m. This lightly raced filly could easily make a big impact here. |
