Former Hong Kong galloper making his local debut and he looked well taking out his first and only trial here on Tuesday. On class alone, he demands plenty of respect, but it’s hard to know how forward he is for this.

Talented six-year-old on his day who is first-up off a 57-day break and won a trial well ahead of his return. He will get back in the run and be making a late bid.

A noted frontrunner who needs everything to go right in order to make all in the run. He might be found wanting late here.

A highly-talented five-year-old making his eagerly awaited return after not running since early February this year. 1200m may be too sharp for him, but he’ll relish a fast run race and be strong late.

Quality four-year-old who has been in sensational form this year with five wins and two placings from eight starts. He rises to Class 1 for the first time-his toughest test yet-but he brings consistency to the race.

Another trying Class 1 for the first time and his best form is generally on the Polytrack, however he has placed three times from eight on turf.

Thriving five-year-old with three wins and two runner-up spots from seven starts this season and now finds himself on a career-high mark of 81. This is his toughest test so far but he’ll be on-pace for a while.
