The Club confirms that under its daily COVID-19 testing regime, the PCR test of jockey Blake Shinn returned positive today. The Club has reported the case to the public health authority. Shinn will undergo a minimum of 7-day self-isolation and the date of his return is subject to the advice of the Club’s Chief Medical Officer. During that period, Shinn is not allowed to attend trackwork or scheduled race meetings. Shinn does not live in premises provided by the Club. In the meantime, the Club is carrying out contact tracing and will take appropriate measures as needed.
