RACE 4 – BRAVE DREAMS

BRAVE DREAMS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BRAVE DREAMS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BRAVE DREAMS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 4 – SUNSET WATCH

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SUNSET WATCH was lame in its left hind and right front legs on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SUNSET WATCH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 5 – PROSPEROUS WIN

PROSPEROUS WIN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. PROSPEROUS WIN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, PROSPEROUS WIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 5 – CELESTIAL STEED

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that CELESTIAL STEED was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, CELESTIAL STEED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – CARROLL STREET

CARROLL STREET, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. CARROLL STREET was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, CARROLL STREET will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
