In view of the challenging pandemic situation in Hong Kong, and in particular that there are silent transmission chains in the Sham Shui Po area as announced by the Centre for Health Protection, the Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) has decided to temporarily close eight Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), effective from 21 January until further notice. The eight OCBBs are:

·         Kweilin Street, Sham Shui Po
·         Yu Chau Street, Sham Shui Po
·         Wai Chi Street, Shek Kip Mei
·         Tai Po Road, Shek Kip Mei
·         Cheung Sha Wan Road, Prince Edward
·         Shun Ning Road, Cheung Sha Wan
·         Castle Peak Road, Cheung Sha Wan
·         Lai Wan Road, Mei Foo

The Club will continue to closely monitor the development of the epidemic and will announce the service arrangements of OCBBs in a timely manner.
