1400m – Turf
1 | Sun Fortress | Former Australian galloper who is a four-time winner from 1350m to 1500m. Has trialled well and finds a very winnable race first-up in Singapore. Big chance. |
2 | Quadcopter | Proven performer at this level who was a drifter in the betting last start when 10th place. Go on his win four starts ago in this grade and he is worth considering. Watch for betting support. |
3 | Be Bee | Has shown improvement recently after dropping from 89 to 75 in the ratings but has not won a race for 855 days and will need all the favours to break the run of outs. |
4 | Gold Star | Quality 1400m horse who stormed home last start behind Tiger Roar over this track and distance and appears well placed to play a part in the finish. |
5 | Quarter Back | Overlook his recent runs over distances too short for him. He is much better suited back to 1400m and can figure in the finish. A knockout chance. |
6 | Siam Royal Orchid | A Class 4 winner two starts ago who looks tested at Class 3 level where he has failed five times previously. |
7 | Circuit Mission | Led and gave a great sight last week over 1600m when third place. Backs up quickly (7 days) and that’s the query. |
8 | Nationality | Has never won beyond 1200m and was disappointing last start. Looks tested. |
9 | Savvy Command | Perfectly ridden when an easy winner last start in Class 4. Rises in class and this is tougher but has ability. |
10 | Teller | Former Argentinean stayer who arrives as a three-time winner from 1800m to 2200m. Has trialled okay and could sprint well fresh but may need it longer. |
11 | Sky Rocket | Form has been down and is struggling to recapture his best form. Hard to recommend. |
12 | Master Ryker | Has yet to win in Singapore in five attempts and appears better suited over a shorter trip and in an easier grade. Not here. |
13 | Chicago Star | Has not measured up to Class 3 and looks better suited in an easier grade. |
14 | Special King | Has not won for 1,037 days and cannot be recommended here. |
