Derby Stakes Day from United Kingdom (Sat, 5 June – 1st race starts at 9:00pm)

Seven races from the Derby meeting to be held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in the UK will be simulcast live for betting from late evening on Saturday, 5 June.

The Derby Stakes (G1 2405m for 3yo colts and fillies) dates back to 1780 and is probably the most famous flat race in the world. Over the years, the race became so successful that it inspired versions of the Derby in almost every racing nation in the world. The undulations at Epsom and the testing descent from Tattenham Corner have made the Derby a strong test of balance, speed and stamina. Winning the Blue Riband of the Turf remains the lifetime dream of every horseman.

The seven simulcast races are:

S1-1 09:00 pm 3yo 0-105 Handicap
S1-2 09:35 pm Princess Elizabeth Stakes
S1-3 10:10 pm Diomed Stakes
S1-4 10:45 pm ‘Dash’ Handicap Stakes
S1-5 11:30 pm Derby Stakes

Yasuda Kinen from Japan (Sun, 6 June – 2:40pm – S1-1)

On Sunday, 6 June, the G1 Yasuda Kinen will be simulcast live for betting from Tokyo Racecourse during the Sha Tin races.

The Yasuda Kinen (G1 1600m for 3yo and upwards) now in its 71st running, is a race to determine the best miler of the spring season in Japan. Leading the entries this year is the defending champion Gran Alegria. Winner of the JRA Award for Best Sprinter or Miler in 2020, the mare showed her class at her most recent start when winning the G1 Victoria Mile with tremendous ease over the Tokyo 1600m course.

Prix du Jockey Club from France (Sun, 6 June – 10:00pm – S2-1)

The Prix du Jockey Club will be simulcast live for betting from France in the late evening of Sunday, 6 June.

The Prix du Jockey Club (G1 2100m for 3yo colts and fillies) was inspired by the English Derby and was first run in 1836 at the scenic Chantilly racecourse in the heart of France’s largest training centre.

The best three-year-olds in continental Europe along with contenders from across the English Channel look set to establish their pre-eminence and battle it out for glory and the €1.5 million on offer.

Final declarations with barrier draws for Derby Stakes Day races, the Yasuda Kinen and Prix du Jockey Club will be available on Friday, 4 June.
