A nine-time winner who was a beaten short-priced favourite last start and he appears more effective on the Polytrack but cannot be overlooked with luck in running in this race.

Mr Malek

Former top class three-year-old who returned lame last start in January before being freshened and changing trainers. Has trialled well for his return but his fitness must be questionable.

Zac Kasa

Quality sprinter who has not won a race for 825 days but has been racing well. Overlook his last start and at his best he can run a race at value.

Kharisma

Highly promising sprinter of the future who had won three in a row before finishing seventh place in the SIN G1 Lion City Cup. Much better suited back to Handicap conditions.

Makkem Lad

Handy sprinter who rises in grade after a Class 3 win over 1200m. Likes to lead and dictate the pace of the race and if left alone in front he could score an upset.

Nimble

Won five races in Singapore in quick succession but his form has since faded and he has been battling. Looks tested.

Churchill

Ran home well for a solid sixth place in the SIN G1 Lion City Cup when he enjoyed a nice run on the fence. Suited back to a Handicap and can play a part in the finish.

Hardcore

Resuming and has not raced for 259 days and has also changed trainers. Has previously won first-up from a break but is generally better suited over a longer journey.

Siam Warrior

Good handicapper who drops in the weights and gets the conditions to suit over 1200m on turf where he is a three-time winner. Capable of surprising.

Lim’s Craft

Quality sprinter who is proven over the course and distance and is coming off the back of a good effort when seventh over an unsuitable 1100m on the Polytrack. He is more than capable of winning this race with no weight on his back. Value chance.

Salamence

Capable, but unpredictable. Has not won for 531 days but with no weight to carry he is more than capable of finishing in the money at a long price.
