| Biografie | Raced in 1000-1600 metre range. Won wire to wire last out on 21 March in Chukyo 1400m over sloppy going. Has performed well over any going. Largely raced to left but has 3 starts to right. First time at Hanshin. Worth a wager. |
| Buon Voyage | Raced primarily at this distance moving up to this class after 2-1 over tight-turned Kokura 1200m. Good speed, but likely not to translate well to bigger Hanshin venue. |
| Colorature | Has made board only three times in last 16 starts since last win in summer of 2019. Returning from 12th-place finish in January. Lacks speed. Outclassed. |
| Coofa Venus | Frankel mare has 11 finishes in top three from 17 starts. Returned after 3 months to finish 8th in Kokura 1200m. Up against wall in stretch. Improvement expected. Promising with better trip. |
| Danon Justice | Has failed to finish better than 7th in last 8 starts. Returned after 7 months to finish 13th out of 16 in Hanshin 1200m over dirt. No indication of improvement. |
| Derma Katrina | 5-year-old American-bred mare with 7 finishes in money from 16 starts. Raced with only 1 exception over 6 furlongs. Tends to race midfield or further back, with excellent late speed. Coming off fifth at Chukyo in race that favored frontrunners. Has ample chance with bit of luck. |
| Fantasistella | A seasoned, but inconsistent sprinter with 9 finishes in top three from 21 starts. Surprised with win over Hanshin 1200m at end of November returning from 5 1/2-month layoff. But, last two starts were double-digit performances though 13 March start was over sloppy track. Could surprise. |
| First Folio | 4-year-old filly with 9 starts has posted 1-1-2-4-8 since going down to 6 furlongs, last three at this level. Last out on 13 March was keen and no doubt done in by sloppy track at Nakayama. Ample ability with right trip, better ground. |
| Good Max | Raced primarily over 1200m consistently makes board and recorded 6-4 in last 2 starts, both at Nakayama. At Hanshin for first time. Could surprise with right trip. |
| Hush Go Go | Returned after 6 months off, moved up in class and posted 13-8 over Hanshin mile. Finished third at Kokura last summer in only turf 1200m of career. Success not likely at Hanshin. |
| Kurino Ariel | 6-year-old mare has 4 finishes in money from last 5 starts. Third last out on 28 February over Kokura 1200m. Third start since layoff. Promising. |
| Meisho Mimosa | Has at best a second from six starts at this level. Broke awkwardly last out on 28 February, tense, hung out, raced unbalanced. Decent speed and looking calmer in trackwork. |
| Savoir Aimer | Raced primarily in 1600-1800 metre range with little success. Being given first 1200m. Best a sixth in last 8 starts. Likely outclassed at any distance. |
| Septarian | Not looking promising with last 4 starts ending in double-digit finishes. Chronically late at break. |
| Sound Kanaloa | Moving up in class fresh off 21 March wire-to-wire win over heavy ground in Hanshin 1200m. Weight stable. Holding condition. Strong over softer to sloppy ground. Rain forecast for Sunday. |
