Very quick and has won four of his nine starts, proving he could win at this level when landing a G3 at Newbury last year – in a fast time. Ran a decent third in a hot Meydan handicap in January.

This seven-times winning sprinter handles a fast surface but slow ground is ideal. Started 2021 in good shape with a close second over 1200m, though his best efforts have come over this 1000m.

Arecibo

Had gone 20 runs without a win but on his first start for this stable – in April – he came with an impressive surge to beat 10 rivals in a handicap over this course and distance. Probably a career-best.

After wind surgery and being gelded he has run two very good races in 2021 – latterly coming from last to first to win a good Newbury handicap.

Dubai Station

Has changed stables and been off for 274 days but he won on his first start last year. Best on a fast surface, he has won over this trip but his former trainer thought he was best over 1200m.

Emaraaty Ana

Two sharp efforts since wind surgery and being gelded, latterly when leading and fighting when headed to finish a close third in a 1200m G3 here in April. All speed he is also effective at 1000m.

Competed at a high level in 2019 but absent last year due to injury. Two fine efforts since returning, latterly when briefly leading in a Newbury handicap before just getting caught by a late closer.

A popular veteran with a 16-race winning record. Has won at up to G3 level and finished second in this G3 in both 2018 and 2020.
