| Gullfoss | Won over Tokyo 1600m a class below last June. Well beaten in last 4 starts. Handles all going and hold-up runner. |
| Haru Sakae | Won over Nakayama 1200m a class below last January. Well beaten in last 4 starts. Hold-up runner. Best on standard and good. |
| Jasper Eagle | Showed upward curve and stepped up the classes with 2 wins over 1200m and 1000m this term. Back to 1400m since last November. Settles better than midfield and can lead. No track issues. |
| Kaminoko | Showed consistency at lower class last term, with two 2nds and four 3rds before winning at the course and distance in December. No match for the winner last two starts after promotion, however. Settles midfield. No track issues. |
| Keiai Viridian | Unplaced in 5 starts last term but showed dramatic improvement when closing strongly for a decisive 3L win over Tokyo 1400m in a class below in February last out. Races close to the speed or midfield. Best on standard and good. |
| Meisho Yakushima | Won at 1400m three times from 26 runs. Finished out of frame in 2 starts at 1400m this term, most recently a fair 6th at the course and distance on 6 March. Hold-up runner. No ground worries. |
| Osumi Catedral | All-time turf runner with 3 wins over 1500m and 1600m from 19 runs. Will race for the first time on dirt here. Finished out of frame in 2 recent starts this term. Hold-up runner. Ran only on firm and good to firm. |
| Ryuno Zoro | Won twice over 1200m at the NAR circuit as a 2YO, before transferring to the JRA in late-2019. Changed tactics to lead which fit him when taking a 1300m 1-win class race at Tokyo last October. Stretched to this course and distance and notched another win in February last out. Best when racing handy and on standard going. |
| Sadamu Scat | Consistent performer at 1200m and 1400m. Finished in the top 3 in 9 of his 10 career runs. Returned from 3-month break for a smart 3rd at the class, course and distance on 6 March last out. Races close to the speed. Handles all going. |
| Solar Flare | Three previous wins over 1400m to 1800m on turf. Switched to dirt for the first time for 7th over Chukyo 1400m in the class in March last out. Hold-up runner. Handles all going. |

| Top Of Major | Raced on dirt for the first time in his 12th career start last out, showing his decent turn of foot for the win at the course and distance in February. Races handy. Won the standard going over the surface. |
