Asaka Distance

Delivered strong stretch run first-up after a year-long absence to snatch first victory since August 2017. Can be ridden from back and handy.  Handles all going.

Blitzschlag

Retransferred to JRA last March and 1 win from 15 runs at JRA.  Finished 12th first-up from 13-month break last out at Kyoto 1800m in October.  Handles all going.

Crescent Moon

Proven over the distance with 2 wins from 12 runs.  Showed upward curve this summer when 3rd and 4th in 2-win class, but below par first-up in 3 months latest.  Races midfield and no track worries.

Favorite

Won a 1700m 1-win class race at Hakodate this summer but disappointing in last 2 starts.  Hold up runner.  Has won on standard going.

Kurino Capone

The 5YO has 40 career starts, including 10 runs this term.  3rd at this class in August but below par in last 3 runs.  Hold-up horse and no ground issues.

Loftiness

Proven when defeating a subsequent Open Class winner in a 1800m 1-win class race at Hanshin last June. Smart 3rd in a 1900m 2-win class in the following month and spelled since. Best on standard ground and has won when on speed. 
 

Matenro Spark

Never missed on board in 9 previous runs on dirt.  Coming off a 4th over 2100m last out.  Races midfield or better.  No track worries.

Meiner Astoria

Ran 5th in an 1800m JPN G3 in Hokkiado last October. Snapped his losing streak when winning over 1800m at NAR’s track of Funabashi in October latest. Won when taking the lead.  No ground issues.

Meisho Dajin

Finished 5th in a 1800m G3 on turf early this term but two career wins both from dirt.  Well beaten first-up from three-month break in the G3 Leopard Stakes (1800m dirt) in August last out. Hold up runner.

Perle d’Or

Showed upward curve early this term and took his second win over 1700m in August.  Below par latest over 1700m in October.  Can be ridden close to the speed and further.  Ran only on standard ground.

Savile Roar

Won twice when led. Below par when held up in the last 5 runs this term.  Best on standard and muddy.

Sound Sunbeam

Below par in first two runs this term but finished 5th first time over 1800m in September and took second win at NAR’s track of Nagoya (1400m) last month.  Takes lead or races handy.  No ground issues.

Venus Flora

3 wins from dirt over 1400m and turf over 1500m from 36 career runs. Below par in last 3 runs but matured mentally at age six.  Hold up horse.  Best on standard and good.
