| 3 | Circuit Mission | One of three Lee Freedman runners (Loyalty Man & Karisto – the other two) who also had excuses last start when finishing ninth in the same race that Karisto finished fifth. He has been trialling well and he is more than capable of testing these. |
| 4 | Threeandfourpence | Overlook his last start failure on a rain-soaked track when 12th place to Top Knight in the SIN G1 QE II Cup (1800m). Quality type who has soundness issues and is proving costly. Clearly has the ability to win this race but is hard to trust. |
| 5 | Sincerely | Former French galloper who was very good at his debut when winning over 1200m and then last start ran very well when fourth to Super Dynasty over 1400m. Looks ideally suited rising to 1600m and should be ready to run a big race. |
| 6 | Tesoro Privado | Former top-class galloper who has not won for 771 days. Has battled injuries and is not racing well enough to be considered. |
| 7 | Destroyer Eclipse | On-speed runner who should press forward but not racing well enough to test these. |
| 8 | Sky Rocket | Former quality galloper who contested the Singapore Gold Cup in 2018 before succumbing to injuries. Is on the comeback trail and may need a few more runs. |
| 9 | Biraz | A four-time winner who had few excuses last start behind Super Dynasty when finishing 12th. Has not won for 546 days and is hard to recommend. |

Struggling to find his best form and was well-beaten by Rocket Star last start over 1200m. Having first try at 1600m but this looks too tough and too far. |
| 11 | Inherit | Has never won over 1600m in three attempts and appears much better suited over 1200m. Will find this race too long. |
| 12 | Sacred Gift | Caught the eye flashing home late over 1200m on the Polytrack last start but now jumps to 1600m for the first time and he has never given the impression he can run the trip. Will struggle. |

| 14 | Terrific | Another runner who is totally out form and cannot possibly be recommended against this quality. |
