1200m – Dirt

Asaka Dione

2 wins and 3 placings from 6 career starts.  Led as usual but faded late to finish 10th last time. First up since August but not a worry.  Takes lead or races close to the pace.  No ground issues.

Attivo

3 wins at 1000m and 1200m on dirt from 27 starts but winless in two years.  Seemed to show upward curve early this term but below par last three starts.  Races close to the speed.  No ground concerns.
   

Come On Spring

2 wins over the course and distance from 17 starts.  Most recent win under rain-affected condition last June.  Spelled for 7 months but below par first-up in August.  Best when handy.  No ground issues.

Cosmo Bisty

2 wins over 1200m & 1300m from 28 starts.  Unplaced all 6 starts this term.  Settles midfield or close to the speed.  Raced only on firm and good.

Isshin

2 wins and 3 seconds from 8 career starts.  Set pace but tired late for 6th in a 1200m 2-win class race last out.  Leads or sits prominently.  No ground issues. Likes right-handed course.

Jo Forest

Progressive 3YO colt with 2 wins at 1200m from 6 starts.  Finished in top 3 in all 5 runs this term.  Generally stalks handily and raced only on firm and good.
  

Marrone Metallico

 

Two wins at 1200m from 11 starts.  Returned to action from an 11-month break in September and close to back to his best second-up when delivering a late speed for neck 2nd in a 1300m 2-win class race in October latest.  Versatile. Handles from firm to muddy.

Moher

Won 3 on dirt from 36 career runs.  Finished in the frame when 3rd in a 1200m 2-win class race on turf at Kyoto last month.  Hold-up horse.  No ground worries.

Nihonpiro Maddon

2 wins at 1200m and 1900m from 13 runs.  Below par 2 starts this term.  Stays further but can be ridden forward.  No track worries.

Shiny Branco

Two-time winner at the distance, one each on turf and dirt.  Latest a 1200m 1-win class dirt race in May but below par in 3 recent runs.  Usually settles midfield or better.  Best on standard. 

Shinzen Max

Showed upward curve in last 3 runs, edging a tight finish in a 1200m 1-win class race at Niigata latest.  Generally raced close to the speed.  No going issues.

Suzuka Youth

3 wins at 1200m and 1600m from 22 runs.  Not a factor in all 7 starts this term.  Has won when raced forward.  Best on firm.

T O Marx

Won 2 over 1200m from 9 runs on turf.  Races first time on dirt here. Best run so far when taking the Open Class Fukushima Nisai Stakes this time last year. Most recently a solid 5th in a 2-win class (turf 1200m) race at Kyoto last month.  Usually leads or sits handy.  Has won on firm and soft.

Thurston Barham

Two wins at 1200m from 13 starts. Well beaten in 3 runs this season.  Best when raced close to the speed or took lead. Have won on firm and muddy.
